In last weeks short video from the Institute for Sustainable Futures and the Dusseldorp Skills Forum, we looked at ways to use rainwater around the home.  Today’s short video covers collecting your rainwater.  It runs through information about your roof, gutters, strainers and water diverters.

Poly and Steel water tanks all require minimal maintenance to maintain, but they do require some maintenance, and this short video gives you excellent information on what you can do to get clean water into your tank, and to continue getting clean water into your tank.

WaterStore provide water diverters, leaf eaters, strainers and filters – all great products to help keep your tank water clean.

Next week we will share the next video in the series which looks at storing the water collected.   It will discuss different types of tanks – steel, poly, concrete, plus look at installation, size required, mosquito protection and overflows.
